A Tax Certificate is a legal document from the M.D. of Willow Creek No. 26 indicating the financial status of taxes for a particular property.  The certificate indicates whether taxes for a specific property are paid, in arrears, or paid via the M.D. of Willow Creek No. 26’s monthly installment plan.

Tax Certificates may be required by law firms or financial institutions when a property is being sold, refinanced or as a verification of taxes paid.

To request a Tax Certificate, please submit a Service Request.  In Category Type select "TAXATION AND ASSESSMENT" and Request Type  select taxation. Please remember to quote your file number if applicable. Normally, Tax Certificates will be prepared within 24 hours (copy e-mailed and hard copy mailed), and the $40.00 fee will be invoiced.
