Manager of Landfill Operations The Willow Creek Regional Waste Management Services Commission is seeking a Manager of Landfill Operations. If you meet the requirements, we want to hear from you! History The Willow Creek Regional Waste Management Services Commission was established in 1993 and provides solid waste services to the M.D. of Willow Creek, the Town of Fort Macleod, the Town of Claresholm and the Town of Stavely. The Landfill operates under approval issued by Alberta Environment and Protected Areas for the purpose of operating a Class II Municipal Sanitary Landfill which serves a population of approximately 12,000 people and receives 6-8000 metric tonnes of Municipal, Industrial and Commercial / Institutional waste per year. The Manager of Landfill Operations reports to the Landfill Commission and is responsible for day-to-day operation of the landfill facility. The Landfill Manager is responsible for meeting environmental regulations, health and safety standards, financial performance, regulatory compliance and to provide exceptional customer service. Position Description: The Manager of Landfill Operations will be responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the Willow Creek Regional Landfill.
