Fire Departments

Residents and visitors of the MD of Willow Creek are protected by dedicated volunteer firefighters, and three MD staff members who coordinate fire and rescue services across the region. Firefighters respond from five fire stations located throughout Willow Creek. Emergency response operations are supported by MD-operated stations in Granum and Stavely, as well as contracted fire services with the Towns of Nanton, Claresholm, and Fort Macleod ensuring coordinated and effective emergency response coverage across the municipality.

The MD of Willow Creek maintains a fleet of 42 apparatus to support fire suppression, rescue operations, and emergency response services. Additional details about service levels can be found on the Intermunicipal Emergency Services Agreement page.
