ELECTION WORKERS

 

On Monday October 18, 2021 all municipalities and school divisions in the province will be conducting elections pursuant to the Local Authorities Election Act.  

 

We are seeking individuals who are interested in working as Election Workers for the 2021 elections for the local, joint school board, provincial referendum and senate election. 

 

Individuals must be at least 18 years of age and are willing to commit to approximately 6 hours of independent on-line training as well as 4 hours of in person training scheduled for early September in addition to advance poll and election day.  

 

Total election day work will include: Advance polls – approximately 6 hours and Election Day approximately 12 hours.

 

Election workers will be paid a rate of $25.00 per hour (including required training, advance poll and election day work) plus mileage ($0.59 per km) and meals.
